Mesnasenter consists of several wooden buildings from the 1890s and is mainly used for retail and offices. This is a charming and attractive shopping area in the heart of Lillehammer.

Mesnasenter goes along the Mesna river from Lilletorget and Storgata to Spinnerivegen. In recent years Smedvig has initiated restoration of the environment along the river by establishing a park and installing lights along the riverfront.
