Ta plass! – SSO
As part of Stavanger’s 900th anniversary celebrations, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra (SSO) launched its Relæxt concert series, featuring well-known and beloved songs. The concerts proved so popular that SSO has decided to continue the performances beyond the anniversary year.
The concerts are specially designed for children and adults with disabilities and operate under one simple rule: No shushing allowed. Everyone belongs in music, and participation in cultural life is a fundamental human right. Yet far too many people are still excluded.
By creating a welcoming and accessible concert experience, the Relæxt performances ensure that more people can enjoy live music, take part in cultural experiences, and feel a sense of belonging.
