Zuccarellostiftelsen
The Zuccarello Foundation was established in 2016 by Mats Zuccarello with the mission of reducing social exclusion among children and young people in Norway by enabling more of them to participate in sports and physical activities.
The Foundation addresses urgent inclusion needs through direct financial support to both families and sports clubs. These funds help ensure that children can take part in activities regardless of their family’s financial situation, while also enabling clubs to maintain inclusive and accessible programs.
One of the Foundation’s key initiatives is the Personal Grant Program, a nationwide scheme for families who are unable to cover the costs associated with their children’s participation in sports and recreational activities.
The Zuccarello Foundation offers a simple and accessible application process, with two to three application rounds each year, as well as the opportunity to submit emergency applications when needed. Grants may cover membership and training fees, equipment, transportation, and participant contributions for tournaments, competitions, and training camps.
The Foundation aims to ensure that all children and young people have equal opportunities to participate in sports and physical activities, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Support period: 2026.
