Stemmen-prosjektet
Founded in 1945, Idrettslaget Pol is based at Stemmen Sports Ground in the Kalhammaren area of Stavanger. The club is best known for its strong community spirit and its commitment to supporting children and young people, with social inclusion and belonging at the heart of its activities.
The Stemmen Project will bring sports, volunteer organizations, and a community activity center together under one roof at Stemmen Sports Ground in the Tasta district of Stavanger. The 766-square-meter building, spanning three floors, will include a new multi-purpose activity hall, upgraded locker rooms with full capacity for both girls and boys, a commercial kitchen and café, as well as offices and meeting rooms for local volunteer organizations.
The vision is to create a vibrant community hub that is open from morning until evening, all year round, serving the entire local neighborhood.
Once completed, the facility will be used by a wide range of organizations working across sports, integration, and volunteer services. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2027 and is expected to take twelve months to complete.
