Innoasis – revitalizing building from the 70’s

We are working on an exciting project these days – Innoasis, Sverdsrupsgate 27 in Stavanger. We revitalize a building from the 70’s into a hub for innovation. Innoasis will be a flexible, environmental friendly and functional workplace.

The building will be characterized by wooden structures, but the current concrete structures will be evident. There will be green roofs and walls, as well as solar panel that produce the electricity to building. In the middle of the building there will be a large glass-covered atrium and stairs that can also serve as a grandstand front and repo that can be used as a stage, which connects the ground floor and the first floor. The top floor has several roof terraces and meeting rooms with high ceilings and a great view of Ryfylke.

The building will be a living lab of approx. 4,000 sqm. Innoasis will house, among other things, Nordic Edge and its cluster members. Innoasis is also the name of the Nordic Edge innovation lab, which is supported by Smedvig, Lyse, SR-Bank, Stavanger municipality, Microsoft and Tieto. The lab will include test labs for new solutions, ranging from solar cells, sensors and IT.
